NISSAKIA is little stretch of land that sits just off the North coast of Lefkada, on the mainland before the bridge. It has no schools or shops, just pristine riding conditions.

GETTING THERE

Less than a 10 minute drive from Lefkas town, you can find it just off the national road in and out of the island, just past the castle.

LOCAL TIPS

This spot works best with NorthWesterly winds, and is strongly affected by the summer thermals. Winter is usually dead.

KITESURFING

You can ride on the beach side, or in the lagoon, take your pick. If you head down to the Eastern edge of the spit there’s a little church, which is why the spot is sometimes called EKKLISAKI.
